Oshun is an Orisha associated with sweetness, love, beauty, fertility, prosperity, joy, and the life-giving power of fresh water. Known for her grace, charm, and generosity, she also represents personal worth, confidence, abundance, and the ability to bring sweetness into circumstances that have become difficult or bitter.
Oshun Oil may be used when seeking to draw love, affection, attraction, happiness, prosperity, or greater harmony into your life. Wear a small amount when you wish to encourage personal magnetism and confidence, or use it to anoint candles, petitions, charms, and other spiritual items when working with intentions connected to love, beauty, abundance, and joy.
It may also be used as an offering or devotional oil by those whose spiritual tradition includes work with Oshun. When approaching an Orisha devotionally, however, we encourage honoring the practices and guidance of the tradition in which that work belongs.
